Habitat: It is often found in small lakes in parks.
Size: 30 cm.
Weight: 0,5 - 0,6 Kg.
Feeding: It varies according to the season and locality; includes acorns, buckwheat and rice (in autumn), snails, insects, small fish and vegetables (in spring); grapes, roses, rhododendrons, seeds of aquatic plants and small invertebrates.
Biology: The Mandarin Duck is very decorative, with the male possessing a livery showy than the females. Social animals, they live in groups with other species.
