Habitat: Areas of open country and hunt mainly at the edge of the Woods.
Size: 32 and 40 cm while the wingspan ranges from 105 to 110 cm.
Weight: 200 - 500 grams.
Feeding: Small mammals, lizards, insects, frogs and small birds.
Biology: The Barn Owl is a nocturnal rapace bird belonging to the order of Owls, sedentary and it hardly tends to migrate.It is equipped of a remarkable visual acuity both day and night. It has very large ear cavities to localize sounds with precision.
