Habitat: Forests and open plains
Size:  Body of 70-80 cm. Tail of 60-70 cm. Weight of 12-20 Kg
Diet: Herbivore, it is a glutton for Eucalypt sprouts
Biology: The tail is strong enough to bear the entire weight of the animal. It is used to swing and rudder during the jump and like a third leg when it is still.
Males are solitary, females with the babies form small groups.
Gestation in utero lasts one month, then the baby (aka joey) migrates into the pouch in which continues and completes its development.
"Transitional daytime Slumber", is a stage during which the animal is able to slow down the metabolism. Reaches 15 years of age.
