Nyctea scandiaca
Origin: Arctic regions (North America, Europe, Asia).
Habitat: Arctic Tundra.
Size: 65-75 cm.
Weight: over i 2 kg.
Feeding: They eat lemmings, small rodents and bank voles.
Biology: Males have white plumage, and the females are brownish. In the little ones the spot is very accentuated, to give a dark colour to the plumage. Yellow eyes.
