Origin: Southwest Europe (Spain and Portugal) and North Africa (Marocco and Algeria), Australia.
Habitat: Sandy Places, around hillocks, gorges, rocks, low bushes.
Size: 30 cm
Weight: 1,5 Kg
Feeding: They are herbivores and their favorite food consists of fresh grass, vegetables, and good hay.
Biology: They are medium-small size animals. Have an excellent view, good smell while the ears are very vascularized, and play an important role in thermoregulation. A particular physiological characteristic of rabbits is the cecotrophy.
