Biology: Sweet, meek and social animal. It lives in groups dominated by the elder male. The horns are more developed in the female than in the male, which can also be absent. Ewes generally reach sexual maturity at six to eight months of age, and rams generally at four to six months. The gestation period is of 150 days with the birth of a single or twin lamb .The annual production of wool is of 2-3 kg.
